What the certificate says
Every impression leaves with one, and we keep the duplicate.
The edition
Size of the edition, the number of your impression, and whether any artist’s proofs exist outside it.
The making
Process, paper, ink, the year it was printed and by whom. Ours say “printed by the artist at ArtCanvas” where that is true.
The plate
Whether the plate has been cancelled, and how. For reduction lino the answer is always yes — the block destroys itself.
